No need to travel far to get some good images. Start by looking around your own home. Relax and begin by patiently strolling from room to room, slowly. Whether daylight or artificial light, try to capture the essence of the luminosity. It's there. It's everywhere. Because I develop and print my own photographs (something which seems to belong to the last Century), I also think about the printing of the image. The darkroom will enhance the creative process even further as you choose the contrast, the cropping you want. Think of the darkroom as a kitchen where you are the chef. You have all the ingredients. It's up to you to make a nice presentation and serve a good image. Did you say it's time consuming? Of course it is. But life is not a fast food joint.
